Dar-ul-Ifta

Dar-ul-Ifta

Shaheen Jama Masjid Trust proposes to establish a Dar-ul-Ifta to provide reliable and authentic Islamic guidance to individuals and families on matters relating to their religious and personal lives. The centre will function under the supervision of qualified Islamic scholars and Muftis, who will respond to queries in the light of the Qur’an, Sunnah and recognised principles of Islamic jurisprudence.

The Dar-ul-Ifta will aim to guide people on a wide range of issues, including matters of worship, family and marital life, Nikah, divorce, inheritance, financial transactions and other day-to-day religious concerns. It will provide an accessible platform where people can seek clarification on Islamic rulings and receive considered guidance based on their circumstances.

Particular emphasis will be placed on providing responsible, well-researched and confidential religious guidance, helping individuals and families understand Islamic teachings and make informed decisions in their personal and social lives.

Through this initiative, the Trust aims to strengthen religious awareness, promote sound understanding of Islamic teachings and make authentic scholarly guidance accessible to the local community.
