Madrasa Taleem-ul-Quran, Jama Masjid Shaheen Bagh is a religious educational institution established and managed under the Shaheen Jama Masjid Trust. It provides children with education in Quranic reading (Nazra), Deeniyat, basic Islamic teachings, Islamic manners and morals, and religious and character-building training.

The Maktab follows a formal and structured curriculum for imparting religious education. The curriculum includes “Islamiyat for Part-Time Maktabs – Classes I to IV”, through which students are gradually taught basic Islamic beliefs, worship, Seerah, Islamic manners and morals, and essential religious knowledge according to their level.

The primary objective of the Maktab is to acquaint the younger generation with the basic teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, develop religious awareness and good character, and help them grow into responsible and morally upright individuals.

Special attention is also given to the educational needs of poor and deserving children, so that financial difficulties do not become a barrier to their religious education.
